That time of year came again when various businesses and individuals around the country took part in allsorts in order to raise money for Comic Relief. This year Enoch Evans LLP were no exception and the efforts of their staff meant that £334.81 was raised in total.
The firm took part in various activities including a dress down day where each member of staff donated money in order to ditch the suits and don their casual clothes; the staff also baked cakes and held a cake sale. These activities combined helped raise £180.32 towards the total.
The remainder of the money was raised via a charity 5-aside football tournament organised by the Junior Lawyers Division. Enoch Evans played against Higgs & Sons, Challinors and FBC Manby Bowdler, the firm won two games, lost one and ended up coming overall fifth with No.5 Chambers in Birmingham winning. Staff from the firm who took part were Colin Wilkes (Practice Manager), Stephen Nixon (Employment Solicitor), Richard Neea (Probate Solicitor), Daniel Greatrix (Dispute Resolution Legal Executive), Hannah Brindley (Criminal Legal Executive) and Matthew Cassell (Office Junior). This activity raised £104.50 with the firm donating an extra £50 towards the application fee.
