The Enoch Evans LLP Breakfast Forum is a chance for local businesses and professional service firms to meet to discuss the legal issues and practical challenges that surround businesses today.
Industry insiders met over breakfast at the firm’s offices on Thursday 7th April to discuss the topics surrounding business start-ups. The forum was led by Sukie Shemar, Corporate Partner and Stephen Nixon, Employment Solicitor and was an opportunity for those involved in advising on business start-ups at the sharp end to share ideas and experiences of the issues of the day.
Appropriate factors to consider when deciding upon business structures and business premises were discussed as well as terms and conditions of employment, payroll requirements and other considerations that may assist in the starting up of a business. The forum received a positive response from attendees who included representatives from Crowe Clark Whitehill, Lancaster Clements and Griffin & King. Additional Enoch Evans LLP representatives also took part - Leighann Richards, Commercial Property Partner and Andrew Pointon, Dispute Resolution Partner.
Sukie Shemar, Corporate Partner and Forum host commented, “The forum provided a platform to discuss practical and legal issues that entrepreneurs starting out may face”
