The 42nd tournament was a resounding success with fine examples of sporting prowess to be seen on the green, superb enthusiasm from all participants in the clubhouse, and, most importantly, considerable sums raised for The Arthritis Research Campaign and the Norman Laud Association.

It was also a huge relief to all that the weather gods smiled on us and the rain held off all day – quite a victory these days it seems for a July day in England! All in all, it was a hugely successful day.
