St Giles Hospice are organising “Make a Will Week” this year from the 3rd - 14th October and Enoch Evans LLP are proud to announce that they will be supporting the event. The firm’s wills, tax and probate department will be writing wills free of charge with client donations going towards the Hospice. This is an excellent opportunity to get your affairs in order, whilst also helping to support the patients and families cared for, and supported by, St. Giles’ Hospice.
St Giles Hospice is an independent charity providing high-quality medical and nursing care for local people living with cancer and other serious illnesses, as well as offering support for their families and helpers. The dedicated team provides individually tailored care at the hospices in Whittington near Lichfield, Sutton Coldfield, Walsall (previously Walsall Hospice), and also in patients’ own homes across the region. The range of specialist services are provided free of charge to all who need it.
Making a will brings security and peace of mind, not just to you but to those you love. The team at Enoch Evans LLP have chosen to give their time free of charge and waive their will-making fees to write a standard will during the Week. If the will is non-standard and involves tax, specialised legal advice or trusts, Enoch Evans LLP will be happy to advise and agree a fee. Everyone receiving advice will be invited to make a donation to St Giles Hospice in exchange for this service. These donations will be very much appreciated towards the support of St Giles Hospice.
Susan Comrie, Wills, Tax and Probate Partner commented, “Once again we are very proud to be supporting the hospice with “Make a Will Week”. Making a will can be very distressing to some and there is a large number of people without a valid will. In order for you to ensure that your loved ones are looked after when you are gone, we invite you to visit us. We will sensitively and impartially offer advice, and welcome people of all ages”.
The Wills, Tax and Probate department at Enoch Evans LLP have extensive expertise, depth of knowledge and official “Solicitors for the Elderly” status. Susan Comrie is also a Panel Deputy with The Office of the Public Guardian.
